Here’s what to expect as you begin the divorce mediation process:

Step 1

  • It all starts with a phone call and an intake meeting is scheduled with both spouses
  • The mediation case is opened 

Step 2

  • Fact finding begins with a couple presenting all information regarding their marital property and goals for co-parenting

Step 3

  • Once a resolution is reached, the agreement, or Memorandum of Understanding is written by your Divorce Mediator
  • The MOU can be presented to the couple’s attorneys’ for review, if desired
  • The MOU is finalized and signed by your Divorce Mediator and the divorcing couple
  • The mediation file is ready for filing in court

    to complete the Memorandum of Understanding
  • Payment is expected at time of the appointment
